However, behind this success lay a complex IT landscape comprising around 70 individual applications spread across various systems, some of which were maintained manually, resulting in high maintenance costs and a high risk of errors. The task: to create a stable, automated and low-maintenance solution for the future. Solution: Implementation collana solutions AG has fundamentally modernised Ex Libris’s entire system landscape. All applications were migrated to .NET Core, made container-compatible and optimised for Linux. Today, the applications run on OpenShift, controlled via automated CI/CD pipelines with scheduled operations.
