The new solution was required to comply with the strict FACT-JACIE guidelines whilst also being flexible enough to adapt to new medical findings – whilst ensuring maximum security and traceability. © Insel Group Solution Implementation collana solutions AG developed the web application „MARCELL“, which reliably meets all the requirements of stem cell therapy. It enables structured data capture and comprehensive quality control in accordance with FACT-JACIE standards. Technical highlights of the solution include HL7 integration into the clinical information system, ISBT128-compliant label generation and the automatic creation of PDFs for all relevant documents. In addition to development, collana solutions AG also took on maintenance and support, including ongoing development to ensure long-term usability. „Close collaboration with the client was crucial to understanding and accurately implementing the requirements and their complexity in relation to the international JACIE quality standard for cell therapy.
