The Lindenhof Group was faced with the challenge of modernising its existing ERP system based on Microsoft Navision. The existing solution was approaching the end of life and was becoming increasingly complex and inflexible in operation.
As a large hospital organisation with complex processes, the Lindenhof Group relies on stable and consistent processes. Particularly in areas such as financial accounting, procurement and billing of medical services, existing systems led to a high level of manual effort and limited adaptability.
The aim was to create a modern ERP basis that simplifies and automates processes and is flexible enough to map future requirements in the healthcare sector.
As part of the project, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central was introduced as the central ERP system and the existing master data and operating data were completely migrated.
Central administrative processes such as financial accounting, procurement and invoicing were mapped in the new system and partially automated. Manual activities have been significantly reduced, particularly in invoicing.
Digital approval processes, ordering processes for materials and medication and self-service functions for employees were also implemented. The solution thus creates a consistent, structured system landscape for administrative hospital operations.
The realisation was carried out in close cooperation within the collana Group: Data Dynamic AG was responsible for the implementation, collana health took over project management and industry consulting, while collana solutions AG supported quality assurance.

With the introduction of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, the Lindenhof Group now has a modern, stable ERP platform for its administrative processes.
The manual workload has been noticeably reduced, particularly in the billing of medical services. At the same time, the system allows for greater flexibility when making adjustments, for example to regulatory requirements or tariff systems.
The new solution creates transparency, improves process quality and forms a sustainable basis for the further digital development of the hospital group.
