As a traditional textile company with over 100 years of history, Berteks was set up with several local software systems that were neither networked nor future-proof.
Departments such as accounting, HR and sales were working with different data sources, which led to contradictory reports, inefficient processes and an increased risk of errors.
The aim was to introduce a modern overall ERP solution that creates transparency, simplifies processes and strategically supports growth.
Together with b4dynamics (a member of the collana Group), Berteks introduced Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 as an integrated ERP solution. The introduction followed a clear best-practice approach that deliberately avoided unnecessary customisations.
This enabled the negative experiences with over-individualised legacy systems to be overcome. Today, the system digitally maps all core processes - from production to cost accounting and reporting.
The project was supported by targeted training and close project management in order to successfully familiarise employees with the new system logic.
