Bühler developed a modern IoT platform together with Microsoft: Bühler Insights.
The solution is based on Azure IoT Edge for data acquisition directly at the machine. The data streams (telemetry in the millions) are stored in Azure Data Explorer analysed. Visualisation and benchmarking are carried out via role-based dashboards, supplemented by flexible APIs and script access via KQL and Python.
The platform has a modular structure and can be quickly adapted to new customer scenarios using microservices.
