MEGA BASIM has been active in the printing industry since 1991 and faced the challenge of making a large number of systems without interfaces more efficient. The existing processes were heavily paper-based, the departments worked in isolation from each other, and there was a lack of transparency regarding calculations, orders and evaluations.
The complex requirements of customised print jobs necessitated a centralised ERP system that is industry-specific, flexible and future-proof.
MEGA BASIM opted for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2012 in combination with the PrintVis printing solution. Together with b4dynamics (a member of the collana Group), an industry-specific approach was pursued: sales, production, warehousing, purchasing, costing and accounting were combined in a single solution.
PrintVis brought with it functions such as preliminary costing, pricing and machine integration. The system was supplemented by TARGIT for business intelligence as well as MAS and web CRM interfaces. The new system was up and running after just eight months.
